Holding a record of being the longest spanned chief minister of a State in India, the post which he held for over 30 years since 1970s, the new of his death was a shocker to me. Back then I was performing a RNA gel electrophoresis. With a peculiar excitement to break the news, I went across a few adjacent labs in my institution, only to learn that the news was a Hoax!
