Happy Storm.

Never ever had I felt so happy seeing the welkin gloom with gray. Never have I felt the necessity of welcoming a storm in my life. But again, certain things happen in your life unexpectedly. The place from where I hail, called Kolkata is in the province of West Bengal, India. The annual saga involving the inhabitants with one of the most unpredictable, yet devastating storm of nature, created due to the sudden gush of the North-Westerlies over the Gangetic plains of North India to the Bay of Bengal, creating a cyclonic development. The locals, in Bengali call it Kaal-Baishakhi, meaning the ill-omen in the month of Baishak [Click here for details].

But after the long hot spell in half a century, with the mercury kissing the 43'C mark each and every day for the past two and a half weeks in the city. [Click here for details] A temperature that was 5-6'C above normal, made each and everyone's heart wish for the storm to come and relieve them. It came and relieved all the inhabitants, down the Gangetic Delta of South Bengal in a jiffy. The storm lasted for 25 minutes on a rough with slight to heavy rainfall that was re-installed in the late evening. It brought the temperature down by 18 points. My recent Google Weather update mentions the present temperature in and around Kolkata is 22'C.

I enjoyed soaking my dried soul in the first ever heavy rain of the year, 2009, here in Kolkata. The actual season is still a month and a half away, but this juice was enough for the upcoming sultry season in May-early June! Some things that is worth sharing:

" Down the brows,
Rolls the water so pure,
A life saver for sure.
Love You thy Rain,
Like never before..
Quench us from the pains,
Flushing them down the drains.
Bring relieve to the masses,
We give thy million kisses,
Deancing in the Rain.
Dancing without pain. "

Say as If

When it comes to elaborating one's emotion, it is always a tough job to cope up with, something that is seldom understood. The other day, I was having a chat with my friend over the phone. I asked B as to what she would prefer in a mood which was completely remorseful at the moment. She said that she would like to be at a place where there is sand, coconut trees, a lagoon whose waters will be sea green. The golden sand would have nooks of moss enveloped all over the including the tiny pebbles that was once ivory white. Then I asked, what more? With an agile leap, she popped her desire to have a small hut, where there would b no one to disturb her. She paused, and I took the opportunity to paint some objects in her canvas of desire. I put in a small hammock, with her swinging on it, the shadows of the palm tree leaves would be playing hide and seek onto her eyes, keeping the Rays of the Sun around her and not one her.

Th
e sole target was to let feel at ease, trying to paint the desire into pseudo reality. I have always seen that it is the best way to relax, which can beat the best of the best Spa massage or the most erotic movies! Happiness, sadness, anger, etc are all emotions. I know you know that! But what you don't know and that I know is that in most cases we mix them up. We try to resolve them with equipments and tactics known to us. And the recipient side gets the wrong signal of no intent from the former side. Then sets in all sorts of problem. Understanding, which was believed to be on the strongest grounds suddenly falters over the fence! It becomes really hard to reconcile and come to terms with the situation. It requires calmness at helm to overcome such a predicament of what to do and what not to do!

Few lines...

P was just another stepping stone away, when words of confessions and collusions creates the mist of illusion that basks in the good taste of wondering thoughts. He cries his heart out, sometimes he sobs, sometimes he giggles, while other times wonders through the winding alleys, trying to catch the run-away bride. Cared, tired and what not, he runs uphill followed by the slide down hill. He is not idle, but more than anything he wanted his life back! Sp he is mad..till sweat and tear drops and mingles on the roadside rose leaf. They splatter, they widen up... they join... the endurance with zeal keeps their characters unchanged, but are miscible...

P moves forward, crying for his life... He is optimistic, not like that of the State government, but he is optimistic with his life..for its the only thing for whom he is living till date!

MRIH, Stiiching all the emotions into an Experience...

Manovikas Rehabilitaion Institute for Handicapped (MRIH) houses the biomedical lab where I did my Summer Trainee programme for thwo months on an approximation! It started from May 16th and the Journey kept on Track till 6th August 2007.

The experience has been a real knowledge of its kind, with Laboratory work culture and how to cope up with the pressures! My guide, Dr. K. Nandgopal along with my earlier research fellow Miss D. Banerjee and then followed up by Miss. D. Ghosh helped me surf through the world unknown! Mrs. E. Banerjee had been the seniormost scholar of my laboratory section, was of immenese help. I would also like to Thank Dr. M.Singh, Mrs. Usha R. and Dr.Kanchan Banerjee for letting mebe a part of the whole process!

The laboratory scholars were really cool, especially Aneek Da, Samikshan Da, Achintya Da and Subhrangshu Da. The ladies namely Nipa Di, Barsha Di, Shruti Di, Kanyakumari Di, Mouthusi Di were of great help!

There are many good and the bad memories that had taken this span of life as one of the most important in case of handling workplace politics and policies! I would bound top say, so did my batch mates, Rashmi and Gargi! They are from biochemistry...CU!

The liberty in thelab was very high, and one had teh freedom of handling instruments!!! provided they show care in managing them! The best part is that, I did a mistake, thorough accident on the second last day of my stay! will come to all those experiences later... and many...

but as for now!! enjoi the two little videos of my lab taken on 4th August 2007.

will chip in many experiences later... just like weaving the emotions to the garland of experience!

The green and humemotions!!!

The leaf has two sides, each having a varied colour intensity of greenery. The same are the human emotions, alias called here as humemotions! The darker side is full of life, producingh the food to live while the lighter side, underneath is the distress and the sadness undefined!

There are three basic types of people strategies in playing with this emotions!

Most try to hide them, just like the leaf hides the lighter [low chlorophyllous] side underneath! They are rigid and unmovable!

Some show both sides at ease, dipping out the tears just like guttation of the water from the hydathodes!

And very few are there who will show both side, but the top darker side would be shown better, than the less chlorophyllous side underneath, which will reveal itself to gentle wind to stronf storm! Thats analogous to soft soothing, warm, comfortable talking to harsh forceful confession!

Thus humemotions are comparable to the leaf! What do you people say?

Integration to Differentiation

They stare a lot, tells me a lot, kisses my existence a lot. They are the ones who can made me what I am today, they are the ones who will disrupt me to what I didnt want to do today. Again with their closure, all my pains, all my laughters, all my entity will be washed off, just like the mound of sand getting washed offshore. No one will ever get me.. may be I hate to let anymore people get me right. The only thing I would like to point out is, I never did any wrong, never discussed anything with anyone, never wanted evil by my desire. My eyes always spoke in the truth, only that, my eyes are different from the crowd..it has integrated me, and now will differentiate me....

But the truths shall close down along with the light, it shall never come out..never ever!!!

Those are my eyes... it still has the colour, soon to be discoloured!!!

Thank You.
