Its the Politicians, who faces smells the "Sweet" Smell of Leather. Sometimes Nike, sometimes Woodlands and sometimes the Indian Made Rubber Back hawai chappal (Sandal). After the Iraqi Journalist showed the way, Indians have used it more often within the last one month, spanking the "good for nothing" Politicians, with their foot gear!
#1) Mr. P. Chidambaram [Congress]. The Home Minister had to duck to a Number 7 boot of Mr. Jarnail Singh, the Dainik Jagaran Reporter for spanking a shoe at him when he was shoving off the Tytler issue regarding the Sikh Issue. The report found it's place in my blog. Click here for details. P.C gave his smile and generously asked him to leave.
#2) Mr. N. Jindal [Congress]. In our times we have had our share from our school teachers several times. Back then it was never an issue. Now when Mr. Jindal got spanked by the an elderly school master at a village during a road show, it became a Nation Row! He got the treatment from Ram Kumar, a retd school teacher when the MP was on his election campaign from his constituency in Kurukshetra.
#3) Mr. L.K. Advani [BJP]. Two Congresmen down, no Bhajpa? How can this be, with the single largest oppostion party being spared? The target, BJP supremo and Prime Minsiterial candidate, Mr. L. K. Advani! He was made to chuck a sandal from his own party workers, who were against him regarding certain issues in the region!
#4) Dr. M. Singh [Congress]. The Hon' Prime Minister of India, was attacked with a shoe. The projectile missed it's mark by 50 feet. Mr. Singh was attacked by an angry student from Ahemdabad. The offender's name is Hitesh Chauhan who had grudges against M. Singh and the UPa regarding the student and educational policies of the government. One can understand the Arjun Singh implemented reservation quota, that once rocked the national Universities through out the country. (one of the Flaws by the Manmohan Singh led government.)
Protest by this mean is only Filmy and shouldn't be approved by any civilzed society. One's bitten twice Shy. This thing, for Cheap Publicity is becoming popular if considered that way. Even if the citizen's or the concept of Common Man waking up is coming true, still, Vote out a governemant that is of no use..but dont hurl these projectiles.
